1. Platform Subscriptions & Service Packages

Non-Refundable Billing: Fees paid for MatMetriq organizer subscriptions, software packages, or premium platform features are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis. These fees are strictly **non-refundable** once the billing cycle has started.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription package at any time through your Account Settings. Upon cancellation, your premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which the subscription will terminate and no future charges will apply.

2. Tournament Registration Fees & Entry Slots

Event Organizer Custody: MatMetriq acts only as a payment routing platform to facilitate secure payments. The Event Organizer is the sole custodian and owner of all registration fees. Consequently, **MatMetriq does not manage, hold, or issue refunds for tournament entries.**

Direct Organizer Resolution: Any request for a registration refund, division transfer, or entry fee adjustment must be initiated and resolved directly with the Event Organizer. Organizers have full discretion over whether to grant, credit, or deny refund requests based on their specific event rules.

Standard 24-Hour Rule: Unless the Event Organizer's custom policy states otherwise, standard platform booking rules dictate that cancellations made **less than 24 hours prior** to the scheduled start time of the tournament or match booking are strictly **non-refundable**.

3. Athletic Bookings & Private Sessions

Booking Cancellations: For private coach bookings, referee bookings, or training sessions, standard terms apply. Cancellations made by the user with more than 24 hours' notice may be eligible for a refund or rescheduling credit, subject to the host coach/organizer's approval.

Organizer Cancel: If a training session or booked athletic event is canceled entirely by the Organizer/Coach, users are entitled to a full refund of their session booking fee, issued directly by the Organizer.

4. Processing & Transaction Fees

Deductions: Approved refunds processed by event organizers through our gateway routing (such as Razorpay, PhonePe, or PayPal) may be subject to payment gateway processing fees and administrative deductions. These transaction charges are retained by the payment gateway and are non-refundable.
